The leathers reveal different grain patterns, healed scars, and other natural markings. Dyes are absorbed differently between each hide so there may be tonality differences in each piece of leather. Full Aniline means that it is UNPROTECTED with no pigments or top coatings sprayed on after the aniline-dye process, which keeps the leather in the most natural and soft state possible.

This top grain leather is aniline dyed and turned in drums to soften it. Then, a finish coat is added to protect the hide against stains and fading. Our top grain leather has a fine and supple hand. We feel that it is an excellent combination of softness, durability, consistency of color, resistance to sunlight, and ease of maintenance.
